JLP Group was founded by Mr. Duda Jetha Lala after his retirement from Saurashtra Cement Limited (Hathi Cement), inspired by a lifelong vision to fight exploitation and create fair opportunities for overseas employment.
Our story traces back to 1910, when Mr. Lala Laxman Jiva, our founder’s grandfather, became the first from his village to work abroad in Uganda, Africa. Named in honor of Mr. Jetha Lala Laxman, the company stands as a tribute to his journey from humble beginnings as a young bricklayer to a symbol of perseverance and integrity.
